Trees: Now and for the future
Thursday 3rd July 7pm. Wootton Fitzpaine Village Hall, DT6 6ND. Free parking behind the hall.

If you’re hoping or planning to plant trees but not sure what species will survive climate change…

or if you’re just interested in climate change impacts on local forestry and tree planting…

…come along and find out what the professionals are doing locally.

Char Valley Parish Council invites you to join a FREE Q&A panel meeting to set out the facts and answer your questions.
On Thursday 3rd July at 7pm we have a fascinating panel of speakers:
  • Leo Henley Lock - National Trust Countryside Manager, West & North Dorset
  • Chris Goode - Community Ranger, East Devon & Blackdown Hills, Forestry England (Charmouth Forest)
  • Lucy Sommers - Small scale local landowner planting native and exotic tree species for forest gardening/agroforestry/multi-crop orchards

Refreshments available in the interval.

You can just turn up on the day but, if possible, please let us know you plan to come by booking a FREE ticket.
